Creating a bug report/issue

Required Information

  • DietPi version | v9.6.1
  • Distro version | bookworm 0
  • Kernel version | 6.1.21-v8+l
  • Architecture | arm64
  • SBC model | RPi 3 Model B (aarch64)
  • Power supply used | Official
  • SD card used | SanDisk

Additional Information (if applicable)

  • Software title | myMPD
  • Fresh install

Steps to reproduce

  1. Add FLAC audio files to myMPD database.
  2. File names include number and special characters.
  3. And / or the metadata includes custom properties.

Expected behaviour

  • Audio / Music added to the myMPD library.

Actual behaviour

  • Nothing. myMPD will only accept FLAC files where the file names have been stripped of special characters. Also necessary to remove any custom properties from the metadata.

Extra details

  • myMPD will happily accept MP3 files with names which include numbers and special characters. Unfortunately my music collection is 99%+ FLAC.

Not sure if we can do anything on this. Probably something to check with app development.
