Hi there,
In case anyone else gets the following error from service mpd status:
/usr/local/bin/mpd: error while loading shared libraries: libwrap.so.0: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
The fix is apt-get install libwrap0, then service mpd restart (might need to do it twice).
