Hello,
I used the DietPi-Drive_Manager to mount an additional hdd on my new homeserver.
The manager recommends a naming like this:
Default and recommended = /mnt/d3b6ff87-1234-1234-1234-123456789
These uuids are very long and not really nice to handle, f.e. if some software needs to write on this drive.
What is the recommended approach for a shorter name?
Simply enter /mnt/hdd when prompted by the drive manager? Can this cause problems?
I simply want to understand the intendation of such long mountpoints and how to handle them ideally ![]()
Thanks in advance and kind regards
Andreas
