MIDI Sequencing

I’m hoping to use an Orange Pi Zero 2 and DietPi as an embedded computer in a liver performance MIDI sequencing tool.

This leads me to two questions:

  1. Is it possible to compile DietPi with the PREMT_RT kernel?

  2. What is required for creating a custom DietPI image?

We use a fork of Armbian for our kernel builds: GitHub - MichaIng/build: Armbian Linux Build Framework · GitHub

The defconfig could be adjusted: build/config/kernel/linux-sunxi-current.config at e6557e2286c62bd1be92fcda7c6ea4b2b5b57c18 · MichaIng/build · GitHub

You could clone it, adjust the config, and build a kernel package with

./compile.sh kernel BRANCH=current BOARD=orangepizero2w
