Libssl1.1 on bookworm

I need to load the Zabbit Agent2 on my BookWorm install. I keep getting the error that libssl1.1 is not available. How do I get this installed?

I would start by filling the troubleshooting form that you ignored

My mistake. Let me get the relevant information the repost. Thought this was more of a “Here is the repository” than a “Bug Report”

libssl1.1 is a rather old SSL library. From a security standpoint alone, I would advise against installing it.

You could try installing the package manually, but due to dependency conflicts, this may not work.

Thanks for the reply. Bigger issue than I initially thought. I will raise the issue with the Zabbix people. Better to get the agent brough up to current that to keep patching.

If an admin would like to delete this tread, that is also OK. I kinda jumped the gun here.

That will be best. Especially now that Debian Bullseye (11) has become oldoldstable after Debian Trixie (13) was released. Your software is now two major Debian versions behind.

BTW: not sure what zabbix app you are running, but I found this. And they support all Debian versions up to Trixie

Trying to run AGENT2. Looks like I have it working on dietpi now. Rasbian is another issue. deitpi is far and away the better OS!!

There are “Raspberry Pi OS” packages for Bookworm. So those should be compatible with Raspbian repo (matching our ARMv6 images), and compiled against libssl3.
