I use Nginx proxy manager and was getting the same issue where LetEncrypt wouldnt renew the certs.
this was down to “Force SSL” option enabled… i had to disable this first and then it meant it was able to go get the new certs… once done i’ve enabled “Force SSL”
so it going to be something like that for you… maybe you have to disable SSL for the website and reboot?
