I’m looking for less feature cloud storage app than Nextcloud. I only need file sharing app with different users support (all that extra apps are not needed for me) with basic file preview option and some easy installation option.
Nextcloud eg is really bad in scanning directories after samba update. Filebrowser is let say “to thin”. Cant even preview image or pdf in it.

It supports multiple users, but Idk about file preview.

What about seafile?
I do not know whether there are problems installing it on top of DietPi.
I want to politely apologize for underestimating file browser. It’s actually able to replace applications like nextcloud and has all the necessary functions - I don’t know why I didn’t notice them… I just need to figure out how to manage users and access to individual folders.

Since every user has access to it’s own home dir you could create symlinks to link specific folders to that.
I have small problem with that - cant create user in filebrowser when box “Auto create user home dir while adding new user” is checked…
Probably file browser service user don’t have permissions for that operation. Did you check system log?
