Hi, I’m trying to recall but I think the LED on my PiZero 2w used to flash based on SD card activity. I noticed that now it just flashes on a regular cadence, on, off, on, off. I’m sure I must have done something, and I’m aware of DietPi-LED_control. My question is what exactly is the meaning of the options under DietPi-LED_control. I have
1: ACT [actpwr]
2: default-on [default-on]
3: mmc0 [mmc0]
From the manual, which is located here: User Manual – Google Drive page 49, explains the leds and how to control them.
Not sure if there are specific dietpi opinions to control LEDs or if this is a function controlled by the bios file.
indicates that the device is powered on
static on
normally shows the activities of the eMMC (but does not work in all cases)
The easiest way is to play around with the settings and see which one suits you best. Our LED tool actually does nothing more than create udev rules. Theoretically, you can also do this manually.
Hi, I have a Raspberry Pi Zero 2w. I’m not sure how this differs from the OrangePi Zero 2w in the link you provided. I am also unsure if this is something I did or if it’s controlled by the bios file. I will try the options as @Joulinar suggested.
Ooops! my bad… I didn’t realized that Raspberry has a similar named model to the Orange Pi Zero 2w… the document I pointed isn’t relevant to the Raspberry… they have their own documents and I suggest that you look for those to find out the actual commands that control the LEDs.
