Is it ok to install software with root user?

I’ve installed some software with root user that dietpi makes easily available. Will this conflict later when I log with dietpi user ?
I don’t plan to be using root user regularly.

You mean if you login as user dietpi?

Well it depends what software it is and if it is running as service in background already or if you need to start it activity.
