Installing libv41

Hi everybody
Can I ask some assistance in adding the drivers I need to dietpi (and would it be safe to do so)
They are at Debian -- Package Download Selection -- libv4l-0_1.22.1-5+b2_amd64.deb and are for a v41 camera that I need to use for octoprint

Thanks to anyone who looked at this, problem solved by tracing to faulty long usb extension cable, nothing to do with the excellent dietpi software
