hi
how can i install the ffmpeg omx codec?
after using aptitude to find “ffmpeg_codex_extra” (armhf2?) or so i messed up, 'cause aptitude did not recognize my numblock “+” to install packages and i really fucked up with handling aptitude another time.
sorry for my spelling
.
so, is there a easy way to use motioneye with ffmpeg and omx hardware support?
actually iam using the normal mp4 codec, but there are bigger files and heavy lodaded RPI3a
anyone help to spinn off my hedgehog cam?^^
Stumbled across this…for RPi

I remember on my OPiLite w/ Octoprint I had to use AVCONV rather than FFMPEG
Yes indeed, so instead of ffmpeg, avconv. so no need to build or install anything probably.
sudo apt-get install libav-tools
Looks like a page out of a book…lol
hi,
so i just uninstall ol’ motioneye installtion and put a newer version on it.
problematically is, that after writing files the RPi3 is overhelmed with data loss - the vid’ is stocking until i set a picture size supported by cam device natively.
unknown, need a DEV to assist
