Hi!

After logging in to my raspi I can see the message that an updated image is available. So dietpi-update will obviously no longer work.
The link that is presented does not show me how to upgrade my raspi. Or in other words: I want the new image to be applied to my raspi but I do not want to reconfigure everything in my raspi from scratch.
Are there any tutorials on how to apply the new image without starting from scratch?

You’ll have to start from scratch - or else keep what you have. There is quite a lot of info in this forum about it. You can’t backup your old system and restore, that won’t work. Reusing individual config files for (for example) samba, lighttpd, vsftp should be OK.
