I made torrents out of all DietPi images

I just grabbed all images via wget and made torrents out of them.
Currently it uses these two trackers:

udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce

udp://tracker.opentrackr.org:1337/announce

You can find the links for them here:
https://jappevpn.ddns.net/torrents/

Is it sensible to update the torrents when a new release is rolled out? There will be dietpi-update after the installation anyways?

Do you think this is useful? I have no clue how many downloads you have in a week.

usually it is not needed to update links as we are not updating our images on every release and yes an update will be triggered on first boot. As well the name of the image should stay as it change on Debian version change only. Like Buster to Bullseys.

So if you want, you can use these links on your website and maybe provide hashes for the 7z-files, to make sure I’m not manipulating the images
