How to update Plex Media Server

I’m running a Plex Media Server on a x64 build of DietPi. When I login to the PMS, I get a notification saying that a new version is available.

But how do I update the PMS remotely? Because when I click on the update button, it just downloads the package to whichever system I’m currently using and not the DietPi server.

If you are on current DietPi: apt update && apt upgrade

  • We switched all instances to the new official PMS APT repository :wink:.

Try switching all instances to the new official PMS APT repository.
