How to enable SNMP?

Hi,

Can anyone explain how to enable SNMP. Thank you.

SNMP would be GREAT! if it was included in the dietpi-software manager
I was able to install the snmpd daemon simply by running “sudo apt-get install snmpd”
For utilities such as snmpwalk and snmpget, it was necessary to “sudo apt-get install snmp”

It works- minimally.
I’ve had trouble expanding on the NET-SNMP-EXTEND-MIB which has been troublesome for custom script monitoring. Still haven’t figured it out.
