How to Activate Bluetooth Support on DietPi

Hi everyone,

I’m currently running DietPi on my device, and I’d like to enable Bluetooth support. However, I’m having some trouble figuring out the correct steps. I’ve read that DietPi is very lightweight and disables some services by default to conserve resources, but I need Bluetooth for a project.

Could anyone guide me through the process of activating Bluetooth on DietPi? Specifically, I’m looking for advice on:

  1. Installing any necessary packages.

  2. Ensuring that Bluetooth is enabled and running at startup.

  3. Troubleshooting tips in case the device doesn’t recognize Bluetooth hardware.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
