How is Home-Assistant installed on Dietpi? Configure yml to add reverse proxy line?

Hey,

I have enjoyed using HA and the easy setup on Dietpi. I have grown my Home-Lab a little bit and have a Traefik - Reverse Proxy setup on my NAS/Ubuntu Server.

I have been able to reverse proxy a few apps from my Dietpi (NanopiR4S) but I can’t do HA

2024-08-19 13:26:45.713 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.http.forwar ded] A request from a reverse proxy was received from 192.168.68.56, but your HT TP integration is not set-up for reverse proxies

From my HA Logs ^^^

^ According to this I just need to add a line to my docker-compose or maybe there is a file I can edit on the dietpi install locally on my machine?

/mnt/dietpi_userdata/homeassistant

^ is where I looked through all the files but couldn’t find what I think I need

Any help or direction appreciated.

maybe section 9 might be a good starting point

I’m looking for the configuration yaml

I was asking how DietPi installs it cause I don’t see it as a docker container or in Portainer so idk where the yaml configuration file is

I understand what step 9 is asking

I just installed HA using the built in dietpi software installer tool

Yes because we don’t install a Docker container. We install HA Core using python modules. Did you already checked /mnt/dietpi_userdata/homeassistant

I have but I am not been knowing what I was looking for. Going to read up a bit on python install of HA and see if I can find what I need.

I’ll either post I fixed it or maybe ask for more direction.

Thanks for your help so far

I must have been blind or not all the way awake this morning. Configuration file was right there added in the required file. Reloaded Home-Assistant and I got my reverse proxy working.

You all are always awesome

Thansk for the help and great OS
