How does DietPi install software

using HomeAssistent I mentioned that this SW is installed via docker. therefore one important feature is not available.
My question: Is every SW, which is installed by DietPi a Docker installation?
Or are there some native services?

What’s important at the moment is Samba Server. Is this a Docker or a native installation?

we install HA core (python based) not a Docker version

we don’t install any Docker conatiner except Portainer

all our software options are native apps

pure samba as you would install it on every other Linux based system
