Grub rescue 'grub_callos' not found

Last night i ran a update on my diet pi then rebooted and now it wont boot just enters to (GRUB RESCUE).
How can i fix this with out re-imaging my thumb drive that i have diet pi running on?

In those post it looks like it at least boots to install updates or re install grub but mine get to grub repair and stops

nope this is something to be done before updating grub. If grub was already update, you are hit be the bug - unfortunately. There are some options described on the Debian bug tracker, but I’m not sure if they are working.
