New fresh dietpi install with nfs connection, nothing else atm and boots directly into Kodi.
Selecting Kodi shutdown menu, i saw this after shutdown, not sure if relevant bug but i thought i report.
Sorry for the bad pic quality.

Maybe you can disable serial console if not needed

Isn’t it disabled by default?
When i click on the toggle i get more dots, never seen this before.

depends if you disabled it during initial setup :slight_smile:

Anyway, you are using dietpi-autostart option 1 Kodi, right?

yes, i do, kodi 1, rest pretty default, fresh Allo pi4 install

Getting old and slow, forgot to look into dietpi.txt and found CONFIG_SERIAL_CONSOLE_ENABLE=1 switching it to 0 now there.

After a reboot into Kodi boot option 1 with modified dietpi.txt, CONFIG_SERIAL_CONSOLE_ENABLE=0
and the initial Kodi boot up Sound i selected the close Kodi Menu and conf.c still complains not able to load client.conf.

Going to undo my dietpi.txt modification now and wait for when i can do it through the dietpi-config.

EDIT:
Tried with dietpi-config and enabling Serial/UART, reboot, checked dietpi.txt CONFIG_SERIAL_CONSOLE_ENABLE=1 was 1, then i disabled everything in Serial/UART, checked dietpi.txt CONFIG_SERIAL_CONSOLE_ENABLE=1 but it remained 1 even after reboot.

Enabling or disabling Serial/UART cmdline.txt always remains,
rootfstype=ext4 rootwait net.ifnames=0 logo.nologo console=tty1 console=serial0,115200 not sure if relevant.

btw i am just reporting this, i can live with this just fine.
Cheers
