Good afternoon, just trying to do a simple install of Unbound from the software directory but it fails sadly. Any help appreciated.

Let’s remove it and try to install again

apt purge unbound 
reboot

Try to share the whole install log. Feel free to attache as text file if needed

SUCCESS!!! After purging everything twice then rebooting it still had the “unbound” directory, so I deleted that also, rang the purge again and rebooted.

Reinstalled again and this time it went all the way through without any errors.
