F2FS for RootFS

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has had any success migrating a DietPi (for Rpi4) RootFS to F2FS.

I’ve been using this link as a general reference but have so far been unsuccessful with the first boot Kernel Panic.

The Kernel Panic is a few secs in and complains about Init=

The procedure above seems to work but suspect I’m missing something else DietPi specific.
Any tips on where to look or a known working DietPi procedure would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, yes I had read that and others before posting and thought maybe more progress had been made.

Never mind, further reading has made me think ext4 on a modern T5 or T7 samsung ssd might be better anyway.
