External Hard Drive not mounting on boot

Hi all,

I’ve noticed an issue with dietpi on my odroid N2+ that I haven’t seen documented anywhere and am unsure on how to fix it.

I have specified in my fstab file to mount my external hard drive on boot. Once I reboot my machine it will not boot because of this. It would also continue unmounting itself randomly.

If I unplug my external hard drive. Reboot my machine, then plug it in after it’s done booting it works as I’d expect.

In my logs I would also see a lot of “error -71”.

To clarify, drive is perfectly fine, works on other machines, same machine with different os etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
