Enter key not working

on the software selection and installation part, they said to click enter/return for select but when I click enter/return, It doesn’t select anyhow… I already tried this many times…How can I resolve this?

This is the regular Linux login screen and not a software selection menu. You simply need to login using root or dietpi user

hit space to select an item as stated on the top of the software menu
