This was discussed on the Roon forum somewhere, but I am looking to have DLNA client software on DietPi. I will use my synology NAS as the server and want to have tht as an alternative to Roon.

I use Kodi as a DLNA client.
I can use Bubble UPNP (Android) or the Kodi remote app to push audio/video from my synology to my KidiPi.
If you are looking for a renderer, I use upmpdcli to let me control it using BubbleUPNP from my phone or PC.
