  • Bug report ID | 4514a3f4-5fba-4407-b4db-e70303ed85bb

Steps to reproduce

  1. Boot Dietpi with Adguard as the DNS and adblocker
  2. Start kodi manually using terminal.
  3. Start VPN connection from within Kodi

Expected behaviour

  • Kodi should run on TV using HDMI port
  • Kodi should connect via VPN for streaming.
  • Internet should work normally with RP as DNS and ad blocker

Actual behaviour

  • Adguard Runs
  • Kodi starts
  • VPN activated
  • Internet gets killed
  • Not able to use Kodi and/or Internet on any devices connected to the network

you mean your network connection is dropping as soon as you start kodi? But the system will be still available?

I guess challenge is your VPN connection. probably you activate killswitch, which is blocking access to your device.

I think as soon as the VPN gets activated the network drops. I will test by deactivating the kill switch and report back.
