DietPi WiFi Access Point - wlan0 not found

I’m trying to set up a WiFi AP on my Orange Pi Zero with dietpi-software. Everything went well until I start hostapd:

root@DietPi:~# hostapd /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf
Configuration file: /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf
Could not read interface wlan0 flags: No such device
nl80211: deinit ifname=wlan0 disabled_11b_rates=0
Could not read interface wlan0 flags: No such device
nl80211 driver initialization failed.
wlan0: interface state UNINITIALIZED->DISABLED
wlan0: AP-DISABLED
hostapd_free_hapd_data: Interface wlan0 wasn't started

root@DietPi:~# iwconfig

How do I solve this?

Hi,

Unfortunately my OPi Zero died, replacement on its way.

Although, I believe the xradio_wlan module may have built in module options to switch to AP mode, if you can paste results i’d be grateful:

systool -vm xradio_wlan
