DietPi-Update failed: exit code 6

I hope you can help, DietPi-Update on v7.9.3 isn’t working and is returning error code 6.

I can browse to this URL on my desktop PC and have a DietPi VM for testing which updates no problem so don’t think my environment is blocking it. It seems to fail at the downloading pre-patches stage.

What DNS server you are using on the DietPi device failing the update. And yes, it is a local problem as your system is not able to resolve a global URL. It has something to do with DNS and/or network settings. Some AdBlocker could block DNS resolution.
