I’m trying to run the update as suggested in the welcome message of my dietpi but after a while it shows me this message:

Before it asks me to retry or to open the configurations page…
Can someone tell me if I’m doing something wrong?

Hmm looks like you have issues to get files download from global RPI repository http://raspbian.raspberrypi.org
Do you have any network security component inside your local network that could influence the internet connection?
Nothing is known to me…
The only thing it’s set on the router (but it has always been set since I changed the internet provider) is parental control.
I had always run updates and upgrade without any issues even after the provider change.
Quite strange behaviour. It seems to be working for the first files but got interrupted out of the sudden.
You can try following

What can I try now?
What is strange to me, you seem to be redirected to some “browser hijacker” plugin side. But as this is some kind of browser plugin, I would have no idea how this could land on a Linux system? Or did you installed some desktop solution?
Not that I’m aware of… Maybe when I installed the system in the beginning?
But this should have caused the issue even in the previous updates, isn’t it?
Honestly, I have no idea how this could happen and why you are redirected. There seems to be something on your local network inspecting network traffic and redirecting your request.
Not sure if possible but you could try to connect your SBC to a mobile phone hotspot and to see how it is going. Just to exclude the local network for internet connection.
It is more than a browser plugin. It is a cybersecurity solution used by some ISPs to protect their customers.
Long story short, you need to either add the blocked domains in whitelist, notify the provider for this false positive, or disable the service (not recommended).
I opened the router settings and found that it blocked 2 times the visits to mirror.ossplanet.net/raspbian.......
It gives me the possibility to enable access for one hour and now it has updated the OS.
Now I should only understand how to whitelist the blocked domains, and why it never blocked them before.
This could be a new apt package mirror or your never got redirected to this one in the past. Something we are not able to influence.
