I discovered DietPi around November of last year (I liked the Christmas tree on the startup screen then…) and have been using it for a backup and streaming media server since.
Two-ish weeks ago, I noticed that I should update to 6.xx and that the previous version is now unsupported.
When I updated, I lost visibility of the DietPi on my Win 10 home network and I don’t know where to look for troubleshooting.
I have a RPI 3B with a WD 2T EasyStore drive attached, the same setup that worked great before; no hardware changes.
I can SSH in via Putty, and a ping from my laptop shows 4 packets sent and received with none lost.
I tried installing ProFTP as well as Samba and nothing seems to make the DietPi show up in the network.
From what I remember of the previous working version, there was basically no setup.
I’m sure I’m missing something, but all of my xxPi knowledge comes from Google, so I’m not sure where to look next.
