Dietpi Desktop Graphics problem

Hello,

I am installing LXDE on Raspberry Pi5, but the graphics seem problematic. What could be the cause of this problem? Help please.

Meanwhile,
I tried MATE and Xfce and I am experiencing the same problem with these desktop software.

Pls go into dietpi-config and change resolution. One of the first options should do it. We had similar reports within the forum but I don’t recall the correct value actually :sweat_smile:

Probably the RPi 5 does not support the framebuffer driver for video output at all, but KMS only. So yes, in this case try one of the first two options in the resolution menu, which enable the modern KMS/DRM/OpenGL video stack. This is not yet well implemented our end, on the ToDo for proper RPi 5 support.
