Dhcp to static ip, cant reah anything anymore, ping works

hello,

like the title says, i changed the ip from dhcp to static and i can’t ssh or reach jellyfin, file browser, etc.

i have an rpi3 b+

running latest image (trixie)

ping works.

Are you sure static IP was outside the DHCP range? If not it could be taken by a different device. Best you connect a screen and keyboard to gain local access

ouside dhcp range? dunno. i thought i can use anything between 192.168.1.2 — 192.168.1.254.

anyways, it works again. i have another rpi running pihole and the dns pointed to that ip address. when i added 1.1.1.1 to dns it worked. sounds strange. maybe the pihole was frozen or so, but in any case you can consider the topic solved.
