Connection Test Timeout?

Hi,

Been playing with DietPi (since all I want is a headless, minimal system) on my ODROID-C1 and have been very impressed.

One bit of feedback; it took me a while to figure out why I was always having the internet connection test fail when I could do things like ping, wget and apt-get from the commandline…

Editing “/DietPi/dietpi/func/check_connection” to have a slightly looser timeout solved it.

I’ll get back to playing with it now. Just posted this in the event that someone else gets tripped up like I did for a bit.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll increase the timeout for that script to try and prevent this occurring in the future https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issues/432
