  • Distro version | bullseye
  • Kernel version | Linux DietPi 6.1.21-v8+ #1642 SMP PREEMPT Mon Apr 3 17:24:16 BST 2023 aarch64 GNU/Linux

Additional Information (if applicable)

  • Software title | Chromium
  • Was the software title installed freshly or updated/migrated? Freshly
  • Can this issue be replicated on a fresh installation of DietPi? Yes

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Chromium
  2. Open Chromium
  3. Maximize it

Expected behaviour

  • Fitted maximized window.

Actual behaviour

  • The maximized window is cropped at the right side, and it’s not only the bar, the webpages are also cropped, as if the actual window was bigger.

Extra details

  • I’m using the official raspberry 7" touchscreen display which is rotated vertically (display_lcd_rotate=1) so the resolution is 480x800.
This also happens in kiosk mode.

within kiosk mode, you can try to lower values within dietpi.txt below 480.

Thank you for the answer.
Going below 480 doesn’t do nothing, but raising does, so the opts is working.

maybe chrome can’t get any smaller? If you have a spare SD card, you could perform some testing using plain RPi OS

Ok, I gave up on chromium and I’m going with firefox.
