Card not detected after shutdown

Hi! I’m running the latest DietPi version, booting it from a 256gb ssd.

I had to shudown mi Pi 4, via DietPi dashboard, so in a proper way. After that i tried to boot it up again but i have the card not detected error. This is happening every time i shut it down.

Is there a way to solve? I always have to start with a fresh image

And how is the drive connect? Does it have own PSU? Because RPi4 USB ports are not designed to power larger USB device.
