Cannot Auth to SSH

Hi all - I have been running Dietpi on RaspPi 4 headless since ~August, and it’s been working great. I was SSH’d in today, removed an installed software (Lidarr), and subsequently rebooted. Now I cannot log in via SSH to either root or dietpi - but I didn’t intentionally change the passwords for either of these accounts. I’m just getting a permission denied, please try again.

Is there anything I can do, or is it just a rebuild? This doesn’t make sense to me.

Well, I don’t know what I was doing wrong last weekend, but tried to SSH into Dietpi again today (just to validate I was going to need to re-install everything) and my root password worked. :smiley:
