I have been trying for a number of days now to connect a Bluetooth speaker to my raspberry PI A+. I have managed to install bluealsa an other required packages to establish the connection between the speaker and the Pi, however when playing audio on the Pi no playback is heard from the speaker, I have already tried looking to see if there is an option to select Bluetooth in the output section of dietpi-config, am I looking in the right place or is there something else that needs to be done.
It seems after asking a few other people this appears to be a bug, in which case I will submit a bug report. It only seems to effect dietpi systems not raspian.
Any news on this topic ? I did set up bluealsa and it can play audio using the “play” command but when something is played, for example with roon bridge, there is no audio coming out. I think I should select it as default but I don’t know where to start.
