As @urostor put it - no such thing as “best”, it’s all use-case oriented.
That being said, OrangePi guys seem to have the closest to general-purpose hardware at the moment in their “5” series: RK3588 ARMv8 CPU 4x2.2Ghz + 4x1.8Ghz cores, LPDDR5 up to 16GB, 2.5GbE port(s), NVME 2280 Gen3 up to 4TB, 6TOPS 3-core NPU… But wifi support is for now unintentionally mutually exclusive with NPU, at least in the latest vendor kernel - 6.1.115, or the edge mainline 6.18.0 - no wifi there…
Geekworm cases are indeed the best for those…
Had a few more links to add for the cooler, cr2032 battery and if you’d like a mini UPS solution suitable for the setup (6A output UPS & buck convertor items), but the limit on links in new user posts hit me. Reply here if anyone needs those…
