I set up DietPi on a Pi4, and things were going swimmingly. Then I installed zsh to try and get some color in the terminal window. After rebooting, I no longer get the default terminal banner/window - I just see “hostname#”. I had set up the autostart to boot into LXQt, now that no longer happens. How can I get that behavior back while still using zsh?
Next question: My monitor supports 3440x1440, and I’ve used it with this Pi 4 before. But DietPi doesn’t seem to allow anything over 1920x1080. On another PC running Linux Mint and connected tot his same monitor, I needed to use the Update Manager to upgrade the Linux kernel to get 3440x1440. Is there a way to do that on Dietpi?
Next question: There doesn’t seem to be a grub file for DietPi. I’d like to remove the splash screen during boot – can I install agrub file in /etc/default/grub?
