So from a boot without the drive in which the dietpi_userdata is symlinked disconnected (/mnt/drive1), and with syncthing and docker services disabled, i get a massive delay until i see the dietpi_banner/bash shell , either from hdmi output or a ssh connection.

It hangs with this message for both:

journalctl-rb.log (48.8 KB)

is the mnt-drive1.automount that is delaying the display of bash shell ? if yes, how so if both services requiring the mount point are disabled, syncthing and docker, as far as i know.
