I want to use audio jack for headsets, and I did not see any pin for MIC IN in it especially in 24 pin connectors for expansion board. Also, what other ways it can be done?
Hello Orangehead
On the expansion board the jack connector is just an output , see datasheet of the OPI zero 2w , it’s clearly marked on the 24 pin connector diagram
You can use an USB microphone to do simple
After verifying project info, I can only use expansion connector for now. So, should I ground the mic conductor or leave it floated if unused? I am a bit confused audio jack schematic in expansion board schematic.
What kind of project ?
Simple IoT project, needed two 24 pin connector for expansion board
Hello Orangehead
Without more info i can’t help for your question sorry
about the ground connection
Hello Totof
I am just using 24 pin connector for expansion board and expansion board must have audio jack for the headphone. I am finding it a little bit difficult use mic pin of audio jack for the built-in mic of the headphone with 24 pin connector. I need that for in PCB.
Hello Orangehead
There is no microphone input on the expansion card’s jack connector.
On the 24-pin connector, it’s only an output for the jack connector.
There is nothing we can do. The board physically don’t support mic in on the 24 pin connector.
Hello Joulinar
In fact with the 24 pin connector we can use the usb as input with a micro
I know and you’ve already pointed it out. But the OP insists on the 24 pin connector. But nobody can do anything about it because it simply doesn’t work.
