Hey everybody,
I’ve got a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W running as a CUPS print server for some time now.
The Pi is connected through wifi and has a Canon printer connected via USB.
Printing from my Windows machines works fine and every now and then even my Android mobile phone finds the printer.
However, there’s only a 10% chance that the printer shows up in Android print dialogue.
Both devices are in the same wifi network.
I can say that the wifi connection to the pi is absolutely stable and power saving options are disabled.
Printing from Windows always works immediately.
What could be the reason for Android not always finding the printer?
