Activate network monitoring in RPI-Monitor?

Very new to DietPi and loving it so far. I had been using OMV on my RPI3b and switched to DietPi a day ago. I’ve installed RPI-Monitor on there to keep track of things, but now wanted to understand how to get the Network monitoring part of it working. I’m a newb, so I tried reading through as much as I could (https://xavierberger.github.io/RPi-Monitor-docs/31_configuration_examples.html), but can’t figure it out.

I did a sudo nano /etc/rpimonitor/template/network.conf and then removed the comment for dynamic lines and then the web.status lines, but its not showing anything in RPI-Monitor and not sure what I’m missing.

Thanks

Hi,

did you have restarted rpimonitor service after you did the change?

systemctl restart rpimonitor.service

can you share your config file?

cat /etc/rpimonitor/template/network.conf

So I think I figured it out… but with that said, the only thing under “Network” now is…

Ethernet Sent: 534.93MB Received: 32.22GB

Is that all that can be displayed? Can we see other things?

That’s a question to be raised with the developer of this tool
