if i download from the xu4 page am i getting the 4.9 kernel image

well very interesting as i have it running on an xu3-lite and 4 cores report 1300 and four cores report 2000 …VERY NICE…
other than that still early stages 4 me but up and running…
hmm green led does not function at all…
will try cloudshell…not shure if it has support for the shell-II or not but will hook up cs-1 and test…
xu3-lite cloudshell-I hardware and diet shell software enabled …
program works as planned…but a few mistakes in the mix…
l.c.d screen has backlite only …
stats come on via hdmi …
software needs to auto-mount drive…i.e drive is not seen …
i am not shure how to mount it manually and or automunt required…

oh cpu stats report 4 cores at 1300 and 4 cores at 2000 prolly cause the xu3 is configured …i guess…funny though it pulledt the cores down…cannot check manually can only go by shell stats program
odroid now has support of xu4 ram speeds up to 933Mhz could you add this to your software as an adjustment…
i have had my xu3-lite running ram@ 933 Mhz for about a week with no problems thus far
xu3 lite and cloudshell -1…
i find this rather odd when i have diet-pi-cloudshell running i can get the backlite to come on ,when i run odroid-ubuntu i cannot get anything to ignite thus …my question is this
::could you pls tell me the files that the diet-cloudshell program has modded…and or the concerning files/dir`s i would like to see what the difference is between c-shel-diet and odroid ubuntu

seems that on the xu4 it is setting the 4 cores at 1300 when they should be 1500…
mouse is flickering dont know why…
mate desktop works fine atm
Thanks for this feedback I am keen try try this once stable as I have had a few disasters trying it on my own so far. My main hope is that it will improve 1080p video playback and transcoding with emby - is this something you’ll be trying out?

i dont think so …i dont know what that program is i will google it but i dont use it as a multimedia centre…i`m more here for testing and diagnostics …
I use Emby-Server for this.
pin mapping gpio status pin allocation is same for all 3 boards but the mapping differs with kernel 4.9 and cloudshell1 and 2 …h-k updated kernel release to give support for xu3/-lite-xu3/xu4 so either shell runs 4.9 kernel…kernel 3.xx.xx will be phased out very soon and h-k support for it will cease from what i have read…
ok h-k fixed the gpio`s so cloudshell 1 will run on 4.9.xx.xx kernel…
i dont know how or if you can update your systems for 4.9.xx.xx …
