I don't see anything blocked:

[4:256] -A DOCKER ! -i docker0 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 9002 -j DNAT --to-destination 172.17.0.2:9000
[...]
[4:256] -A DOCKER -d 172.17.0.2/32 ! -i docker0 -o docker0 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 9000 -j ACCEPT 
4 packets were redirected from port 9002 to 9000 and they were also accepted by the firewall.

Thanks a lot @trendy, @Joulinar - it seems like something specific to my setup then...
I think i'll just do a fresh install and wont keep you digging!
