Move Sonarr install to external Drive

Post by Doctorbeefy »

Is it possible to move Sonarr's install from my SD card to the HDD? The reason I ask is it looks like v3 is giving some I/O errors on launch (After I refresh the webpanel a few times in my browser it loads) see errors below and the logs from each error:

Hi,

best to my knowledge, updating to Sonarr v3 will overwrite entire DietPi configuration and move you into stock Sonarr setup. New Sonarr config folder is located at /var/lib/sonarr now and not at /mnt/dietpi_userdata/sonarr anymore. Therefore you would need to move that folder to your HDD and create a sym link to the new location or you are going to adjust Sonarr service and change the location. That's the ExecStart option -data=/var/lib/sonarr to be adjusted once you moved the folder

Code: Select all

ExecStart=/usr/bin/mono --debug /usr/lib/sonarr/bin/Sonarr.exe -nobrowser -data=/var/lib/sonarr
Pls let us know if a solution is working. This could help others if they hit by similar situation. Your DietPi Team
