problem with home assistant

Post by biagioD »

Hi,
I have an odroid c1 and my version of dietpi is DietPi v6.25.3 (jessie-support).
I have install Home Assistant by dietpi-software.
Home assistant work fine, but I'm not able to update pyton or home assistant.
Here viewtopic.php?p=10416#p10416 is specified that in folder /home/homeassistant/ there are .sh script for uodate pyton and home assistant, but in that folder there are only this file

Code: Select all

.bash_history .cache .homeassistant .pyenv

Hi,

many thanks for you request. Basically you are running a quite old/outdated system based on Debian Jessy. Jessy reached and of life in 2018

On my test system (Buster), it looks like expected

Code: Select all

root@DietPi3:/home/homeassistant# ls -l
total 12
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 97 May 23 18:29 homeassistant-start.sh
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 115 May 23 18:29 homeassistant-update.sh
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 249 May 23 18:13 pyenv-activate.sh
root@DietPi3:/home/homeassistant#
Pls let us know if a solution is working. This could help others if they hit by similar situation. Your DietPi Team
