Upgrading SD card size

Post by racoune »

Hi,

I set up dietpi on a 8gb sd card, but i just bought a 32gb sd card. Is there an easy way to transfer os from current sd to the new one ?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers.

Hi,

there are quite a lot of guides on the web on how to clone a SD card. Maybe this will help you

https://beebom.com/how-clone-raspberry- ... nux-macos/

or this tool

https://github.com/raspberrypi-ui/piclone
Pls let us know if a solution is working. This could help others if they hit by similar situation. Your DietPi Team

I've seen these tools but do you know if the "size upgrade" may cause any problems (indexing, etc..) ?
