Node Red commands missing

Post by bwims »

Hi,

I have the Pine64 release of DietPi, as I want to use the box for a Home Automation server serving MQTT and Node Red.

There is a lot of material on Node Red around, but it always presupposes the existence of the commands
Node-Red-Start
Node-Red-Stop
Node-Red-Log

None of these commands exist in the installation I have. I have upgraded it but still no joy. The only installation guides that refer to them presuppose a Raspbian installation.

Can anyone give me a clue how to proceed?

Thanks!

Indeed it looks like these commands are special to the Raspbian package while we install it via npm (Node Package Manager).

I will check.
