Trash

Post by moka »

Thanks for creating such a great distro.

I'm using dedicated USB install.

With Syncthing, I accidentally sync over a few GB of files to the USB drive.

Login as root user, I deleted all the unwanted files from the USB drive.

My questions:
1. Is there a trash folder that is storing these deleted files?
2. Is it necessary to empty trash, and if yes, how?

Thank you.

Hi Moka,

Our LXDE desktop installation does not have a "trash can". This allows us to keep the installation lightweight. Once the files are deleted, they are gone :)
If you find our project or support useful, then we’d really appreciate it if you’d consider contributing to the project however you can.
Donating is the easiest – you can use PayPal or become a DietPi patron.
